Richie Rich
Sometimes you need someone that reminds you to not take yourself too seriously, to play dress up even if no one else is playing along, to be less judgmental of people, and to let loose and engage in some good clean fun every now and then. Richie Rich has been that person for me. Don’t let the ex-club kid status fool you. This guy has accomplished more than most “average Joes” out there, creating an empire that extends far beyond the Heatherette clothing line. He is put-together, articulate, and extremely charming; perhaps the opposite of what many who have heard about him imagine him to be.

Oliver People’s 20th Anniversary Party

This past Friday marked the 20th Anniversary party of those fashionably eyeglasses that we have come to know and love. Larry and Dennis Leight founded Oliver Peeps in 1987 in Los Angeles with their retro-inspired designs. The party, put on by RADAR entertainment, was at Milk studios on 15th street and, besides an open bar and fresh caviar, had a great DJ as well as, my favorite, chocolate fountains (I have ALWAYS wanted to try out one of these). The best thing about Radar’s events is that the crowd is more than likely going to be a hot heterogeneous mix as was the case this Friday.

DBTH where were you??? We heard rumors of your presence but alas, could only search so long before the bed gods called our name to come home.
