Where  The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Admission  Ticketed Event
Description
On the occasion of the exhibition "Pablo Bronstein at the Met," Spectrum presents An Evening with Pablo Bronstein: an artist's talk followed by a private cocktail hour for the guests and an opportunity to meet the artist. Artist Pablo Bronstein (British, b. Argentina, 1977) lives and works in London. Pablo Bronstein at the Met—the artist’s first solo exhibition in New York—features new work addressing the history and future of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Several large ink drawings suggest a mythical history of the Metropolitan Museum, while smaller drawings focus on hypothetical futures of the Museum. Spectrum is a newly formed group at the Metropolitan Museum providing engaging programming and fresh perspectives on the Museum’s collections and exhibitions. Spectrum’s social events are designed to appeal to audiences ages 21 to 39. This event is for guests 21 and older. Beer is generously donated by Harpoon Brewery.
