Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra Present Jazz Age Lawn Party and Festival on Governors Island, sponsored by St-Germain Liqueur

This summer Governors Island was one of the most-talked about and buzz-worthy local attractions. With its season ending in early October, Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra and St-Germain will host hundreds of lovely ladies and dapper gents at this gem-like retreat on Sunday, September 27, for the 4th annual Jazz Age Lawn Party. This Great-Gatbsy-inspired day will take you back in time to the sizzling 1920s. This year’s festivities include: • Live 1920s music and band breaks including authentic ‘78 records • Authentic swing dancers in period-inspired clothing, so look out for great examples, too, of Peabody, Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, Balboa, Black Bottom, etc… • Free basic Charleston dance lessons and professional dance demonstrations • Refreshing and curiously delicious St-Germain cocktails • Food available from Cercle Rouge • A 1920s motorcar exhibition • Vintage clothing and ephemera dealers as well as fanciful boutique milliners • Literary readings by the Dorothy Parker Society & F.
