The Greenwich Village chapter of DL is an eclectic, inclusive, cross-generational gathering of students, workers, activists, elected officials, and other left-leaning, progressive individuals that reflect the rich diversity and storied political history of the Greenwich Village/NYU community. Join us on Tuesday, March 3rd for the kickoff off our Guest Host series, featuring local candidates, elected officials, and other political players, rubbing elbows & sharing thoughts from their time in the trenches. Our Guest Host for March is Peter Gleason: lawyer, former NYC firefighter, 2009 Candidate for Manhattan's First City Council District, and creator of the "Ground Zero" board game which seeks to expose the hypocrisies of the WTC site re-development process. Join us for a rousing round of trivia questions from the board game--test your local political knowledge for a chance to win free drinks!
