Description
The invite-only inaugural party, THE HOUSE OF FAITH N' FASHION, presented by two trend-setting fashionistas, Tobi Rubinstein-Schneier and Anait Kiladze, will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2009 in the West Hampton beach home of Tobi Rubinstein-Schneier. The evening will benefit Children of Chernobyl (CCOC), the only not-for-profit organization in the world that permanently evacuates and treats sick children from the devastated Chernobyl region. Steven Spielberg, Heidi Klum, Michael Douglas, James Gandolfini, Edie Falco, Jon Voight, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jeremy Piven are a few of the many celebrity supporters who have attended past CCOC benefit galas. To date, the charity has rescued 2,628 children on 86 rescue flights—four in the last five months. Stepping away from the traditional charity benefit dinner, the partnership of Rubinstein-Schneier and Kiladze will create an exclusive evening blending charity with fashion, jewelry and art shows. This unique annual Hampton event is good for the soul, pleasant for the eyes and an absolute “must be there” function. Bringing their star-studded Manhattan rolodexes to the beaches of West Hampton, organizers will allow mingling guests and donors to support CCOC by making traditional donations throughout the evening along with the option to acquire fashionable clothing, jewelry and artwork with portions of the proceeds benefitting the Children of Chernobyl. Slated to be the most exclusive Hamptons event of the season, the cocktail party will feature an interactive fashion show by style guru Loris Diran. The Haute-Couture brand designs of Loris Diran cater to women in the glamorous world of the rich and famous. These clients demand cutting-edge design, sumptuous fabrics, custom work and flawless production. The philosophy of the company embraces the core concepts of Luxury, and is directional in its approach to fashion. It all starts at the couture level. Diran’s Haute-Couture line has been headlining leading fashion industry events since the early nineties, and his designs have been a favorite of some of the most glamorous and famous women of the world including Halle Berry, Renee Zellweger, Melanie Griffith, Eva Longoria, Chris¬tina Aguilera, Courtney Love, and Vanessa Williams. Adorning the couture models will be exquisite Rina Limor jewelry designs. This exclusive collection is aimed at today’s woman who desires a look with versatility, style and class. Musical entertainment provided by the world-renowned string quartet headed by Boris Strulev and an art show highlighting new talent allows each guest to find something to his or her liking during the evening. Lending its full support to the event is leading international marketing and advertising agency Global Advertising Strategies. Their support will help both the event and the charity grow in recognition. The company strongly encourages acts of goodwill that benefit sick children around the world, and sees this partnership as an integral part of its socially responsible approach to business. “It is a fundamental responsibility for us all to give back to society, and aid those deprived of the most basic of healthcare needs, especially when it comes to children. Only together can we make a difference in combating sickness and poverty, so that our civilization can be more sustainable as a whole,” said Givi Topchishvili, President & CEO of Global Advertising Strategies. The hand-picked crowd, including VIP guests and celebrity hosts, will enjoy a customized menu paired with top-shelf vodka bellinis prepared by Michael Levitis, celebrated owner of the world-renowned Rasputin Restaurant.
