SciCafe presents Travels with Tyrannosaurus: On the Trek for Dinosaurs and Ancient Mammals, featuring Museum paleontologists Mike Novacek and Mark Norell.
When it comes to the evolution of life, fossils are the only direct evidence of what actually happened. There are still amazing fossils waiting to be discovered that can help explain the past and deepen our understanding of the present. Join Museum paleontologists Mike Novacek and Mark Norell while they share their adventures—and misadventures—on digging expeditions in Mongolia, Chile, the Arabian peninsula, and Africa and explain why this arduous travel and hard work is worth it.
Surrounded by magnificent geological specimens in the David S. and Ruth L. Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth, enjoy the Museum after hours with music, drinks, and thought-provoking conversation at this installment of the popular SciCafe series at the American Museum of Natural History. SciCafe takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.
Free admission with cash bar; must be 21+ with ID.
