this is the most ignorant article ive read in a while. as a canadian in new york, i get that "do you know drake?" too and ya its annoying but for the most part its just funny how clued out americans can be sometimes. but on the real, what exactly is this article about? that he isnt legit because he raps about "hardship" when he didnt grow up in the ghetto? have you even listened to his lyrics or done any real "investigative reporting"? - when has he ever said he came up in the ghetto? he didnt come from money. he moved to forest hill only after he started modelling as a child. then onto degrassi. its unfortunate that you think cause he was on a television show - and worked to make a living - that somehow his imprisoned father being "absentee" doesnt count as hardship. and i dont know where you get your information, but you dont need to be in the ghetto to be robbed. drake was robbed in toronto a couple months ago actually. the only thing that doesnt surprise me about this article is you being canadian, and you also being a hater without any real justification.
